This introductory course will present topics relevant to modern pharmacology including drug-receptor interactions, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, drug discovery, high-throughput screens and translational pharmacology. Multiple faculty will present lectures in their area of expertise. The goal of the course is to provide students with a foundation for quantitative pharmacology that can be enhanced with other courses in the series.
