Course Name: Journal Club in Virus-Host Interactions Course Id: 4603
This one credit journal club course aims to communicate the most exciting ongoing research involving viruses and their molecular interactions with the host, as well as to train students and postdoctoral fellows in the skills of scientific presentation. The course is regularly attended by twenty to thirty research personnel from 10 laboratories, including faculty, postdoctoral fellows, medical students, and graduate students, both from within and outside the MSM Training Area. The course serves as a forum for interdisciplinary communication and discussion of the latest research in the fields ofvirology, cell biology and immunology. Informed introduction, concise presentation and critical discussion are the themes of the journal club.
