My research is focused on examining the roles of receptor tyrosine kinases in regulating the activity of neural crest cells and the development of their derivates in mice. My current project specifically focuses on the role of PDGF receptors and their downstream signaling pathways in contributing to the craniofacial mesenchyme.
Previous Postdoc Experience:
I obtained my Ph.D. in Genetics and Development from Columbia University in 2010. My work focused on the transcriptional regulation of craniofacial hair follicle morphogenesis in mice and humans.
