My project deals with the role of high fat diet in Multiple Sclerosis disease course. I am investigating diet-induced changes in DNA methylation, specifically in monocytes and oligodendrocytes, that impact axonal damage and ultimately disease severity.
Undergrad institution and major: Johns Hopkins University, Neuroscience
What did you do between college and grad school?
Worked as a tech in an immunology lab at USC then traveled around Europe
What do you like to do outside of school?
Happy hours with friends, volunteering at the local cat shelter, traveling to warm and sunny places
