Why you chose ISMMS?
I like that Sinai is exclusively a graduate institution solely devoted to the sciences because everyone here is dedicated to research and eager to work together to achieve advancements in basic and translational science. Everyone is incredibly collaborative, so I can often find an expert in a field or technique here at Sinai eager to help or contribute to my growth and education as a graduate student. I love teaching, but even without undergrads I have been able to TA graduate courses here and have the opportunity to teach at nearby colleges. Sinai also has a number of industry connections and really encourages both traditional academic career paths and more emerging pharmaceutical or biotechnology career paths.
