Determining how glucose regulates gene expression in pancreatic beta cells in order to promote proliferation of beta cell mass for diabetes disease therapeutics

Undergrad institution and major: Hofstra University, B.S. in Chemistry

What did you do between college and grad school?

2 years in Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) plastic industry working as the chief chemist (on-site) and quality control manager

What do you like to do outside of school?

Music, cooking, hiking, traveling, football, Sunday night HBO rituals
