I chose ISMMS because of the sheer variety of research in my area of interest (virology) and because of the uniquely supportive and collaborative nature of the Microbiology Department.

What did you do between college and grad school?
What do you like to do outside of school?
Outside the lab, I sing with the ISMMS student choir, which performs regularly for patients; run events for Aces NYC, a discussion and support group for asexual and aromantic people in the greater New York area; and play board games – the more complicated, the better.
