Why you chose ISMMS?

I chose ISMMS for its proximity to home, the opportunity to network with pioneers in the field of stem cell biology and neuroscience (areas of interest to me), and the hospitable student and faculty community.

What did you do between college and grad school?

What do you like to do outside of school?

Outside of school, I teach middle school and high school students about topics in the STEM field, volunteer in a student run free clinic, manage advertising/social media for a small business, and am involved in several human rights activism projects within my community in Queens.

What is your favorite quote? “You can’t ever reach perfection, but you can believe in an asymptote toward which you are ceaselessly striving.”
