Why you chose ISMMS?

On the interview trail, ISMMS immediately stood out as an institution that valued patient care above all else. That, in combination with a world-renowned virology department, and I was instantly sold.

Project:

Our main focus in the lab is studying the role of the influenza virus NA as a vaccine antigen, as a way to increase the breadth of current influenza vaccines.

Undergrad institution and major: Rutgers University (New Brunswick), Cell Biology/Neuroscience and Psychology

What did you do between college and grad school?

I went right to graduate school.

What do you like to do outside of school?

exploring New York/escaping to New Jersey/ dancing/ running/ day trips to the beach/hiking

What is your favorite quote? “Drink and dance and laugh and lie. Love the reeling midnight through. For tomorrow we shall die! (But alas, we never do)”
